As part of our goal to build an accessible and inclusive makerspace for the Milwaukee community, members of the Save Point Inc. Board of Directors attended the Operational Makerspace Bootcamp at Maker Works in Ann Arbor Michigan in 2023. During the training, they learned how a successful makerspace is run, including safety practices, member training, equipment management, and community involvement.

The knowledge gained is helping us create a welcoming, sustainable, and accessible space where makers in Milwaukee can learn, create, and connect.
